I'm thinking of getting some lymen sights for my Savage M10FP , but theres a few things i don't understand. I've settled on the Model 57 Receiver Sight but the 20MJT Target front sight is avalibal in two different hights (.700" and .825"). Which hight will i need if i want to zero them for 200y and use them out to 600-700y on targets?

Also can i attatch the Model 57 aperture to my millet bases? they look weaver-style, but they're not quick release. And roughly what would it cost to have a gunsmith drill out my barrel to accept the front sight? Is there a chance he could screw up my barrel harmonics if it's done wrong (I don't have a great deal of trust in local gun smiths when it comes to accuracy).

Thanks guys /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif .
