looking for red dot rifle scope

My dad has an eye condition in which lines look slanted . Not sure what its called. I,m looking for a rifle scope for his -06 with a red dot for a reticle. The lines on the duplex are distorted and makes it difficult to shoot. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
