I'm a new, ignorant long range hunter. I just got a Savage 110FP tactical rifle in 300 Win Mag. I have always preferred pistol grip stocks to regular hunting-style stocks. So I am looking for a good, inexpensive pistol-grip (varmit/sniper style) stock. I've read much about the Choate, good and less-than-good. I have small hands and the grips on the Ultimate Sniper and Ultimate Varmit are too big/wide to be comfortable and the front swivel/stud mount on the rail is said by many to be not very rugged. Plus the Ultimate Sniper is a bit heavy at six pounds. Is there anything else in the under-$200 price range that has a pistol grip with Choate-type adjustability for small-handed guys? (I prefer a much narrower pistol grip.) Thanks, Kansashunter
