Hi looking for a 260 ackley improved reamer and go no go gauges. Looking into just renting i am putting a rifle together for my son to use this year and want to have a 260 rem barrel that I have ackley improved.

You looking to re-chamber you current .260 Rem to an AI? Are you doing the chambering or have you already discussed with your GS?

Going to re chamber the 260 currently to the AI. I am having a smith do it. I have looked and contacted them already a couple times and they have there's rented out right now. So I thought I would see what everyone on here has.

The spec reamers only have .050" FB.
I had a reamer cut with an additional .090" to give .140" FB. Set up for 140 Hyb/140 Elites. I have built two rifles.off it,amd have several buddies that have built rifles with my reamer too. The additional FB makes a big difference.

I can get 3030fps w. 140 Hybs H4350 in my 24". My hunting load is a 130 OTM @ 3068fps.

Right is the .260AI

I also built a 20" that final load is a 140 Hyb @ 2886fps.
