I was just curious as to what your thoughts were on the Leupold MK4 LR 4.5-14x50 with 30mm tube would perform for hunting on a Rem 700 .300 RUM. I thought maybe this would be a better scope for a 1000 yard then the old VX2 6-18 that I had. It appears to be a really nice scope and so super bright and crisp clear. I haven't got a chance to put it on my RUM yet, it is on my .222 Rem for now cuz I put it on there for prairie doggin in Montana. I drew my antelope tag for Oregon and I'm gonna get this scope on my RUM and start shootin my 200g Accubonds to find a good load. I will be shooting mainly out to 800 yards.
