I still have nightmares

about that post long ago... I thought folks would be interested in the story and particulars, 12,000+ elevation, 905 yard elk, 300 Win Mag, 180 NoslerBT. About all I got was a good bathing in BBQ sauce and a thorough roasting. Sound familiar??? How are your scars healing up? (Met up with the likes of other "non-hunters" though, you, Ian M, Darryl, Steve, and the list goes on and on.) BTW: I'm going back to the exact same spot this year (near Wannamaker Creek) and setting up a spike camp, ordered a Mountain Hardwear Trango 2 tent yesterday.

That post was about '97 or '98 on the coffeeshop big-game section. I think "Bowmiester" was your chief rival on that post among many others.
