I stained it with Black Walnut hulls from my back yard, it is now urethane after dry seasoning. The barrel was shot out 20 years ago as my first 6mm AI on a trued 722 Remington, after about 1100 rounds the throat on the 27.5" tube was gone, we cut 5" off the chamber end, and put the 22.5" saved barrel back in service, out to 500 yards it's my favorite rifle right now. Final load development, 62 Berger at 3500 fps.</p><p>[ATTACH=full]322610[/ATTACH]</p><p>[ATTACH=full]322611[/ATTACH]</p><p></p><p>Those Savages are both shooters, but I got to have a utility rifle so, this is my truck gun, 6mm PPC, 22" MGM Shillen Select Match 1-12 Twist Barrel TC Encore with a Burris Signature 8-32x50, with stock and action work by Steve Stranton, nice light rifle that's deadly out to about 300 yards.</p><p>[ATTACH=full]322613[/ATTACH]</p></blockquote><p></p>
