Lets see them deer rifles!

Savage 1899 30-30 built in 1904 was my wife's grandad's rifle. Still shoots great with the sights he soldered in place 50 years ago.

Little 260 built on Borden action. John Beanland assembled the barreled action. Sits in a edge stock and HS bottom metal. Timney trigger. This rifle is a hammer. I still have not coated the barrel.....I've only shot one deer at 247 and it was dead right there. 120BT

Remington 700 in 300 wsm, 3005 fps 185 burger vld hand load. A Brux 26" barrel. Zeiss Conquest 5-25x50 all put together but Shurley Brothers Custom Rifles. Pictures attached are its first Kill, a 175" south Texas Whitetail at 450 yards. Not a very long shot. The following picture is a 3 round groups from 100 yards. Hopefully it will put a muley and bull down in Colorado unit 4 this fall.
I have also shot 4" 3 shot groups at 750 yards on steel targets but that is as fast as I have pushed it out to.

Muleyfever, I like this little rifle. What's your total weight all in? I'm gonna build a 7-08 next. I'll set up a little differently than this rifle, but only the stock. I'll go with more of a traditional edge Mickey. Really good looking rifle you have....
Thank you d500ln! It's at about 10 lbs including bipod.

Well,

Last year it was this little Gal.

Did this to the only one I shot.

Using 436gr bullet I cast. Range? A super long 50 yards. I like to match my gun to the terrain. I love bow hunting but I'll take a 45-70 in the woods and a 243 if it's open.
