Len\'s Bighorn Sheep Trip, Jasper in Canada

I don't think I ever showed you this. November, 2002 in Jasper National Park.

Gosh, it's really quite a sacrifice I make, forcing myself to go on all these trips! Oh, well.

Nice shot.

I'm glad someone other than me has camera duty. You'd get bored real quick with mine!

Tim

This was with a Nikon D1X (digital), an 80-400 VR lens set at 80mm.

Len,

Another great picture!
Were you driving on the highway and you spot several rams on the hill? Then you parked the car on the shoulder and climbed slowly toward to the ram territory and took a photo? (of course more than one picture, perhaps 50 pictures of these?) or you stayed in that area for a week?

That tells me that you are very good "Hunter".

I was with a photo tour leader who knew where to find the rams. They are very used to humans in the park. Very approachable.

Here is a website that you would enjoy. There are forums for serious wildlife photographers to post pictures and ask for constructive criticism.
