Leica 1600 laser rangefinder question

I have a leica 1200, works great. Just would like some more range. How Is the 1600 working. Trying to decide if the 1600 is worth the extra cost. Thanks

My Leica 1600 is not good. Get a SWAROVSKI 8X30 I HAVE ONE WORKS GREAT OUT TO 1900 YD.

I did the same, sold my 1200 and bought the 1600. The 1600 ranges better than my 1200 ever did. I've ranged many things out to 1800-1900 yards, my 1200 had trouble reading 1000 somethimes. I did have trouble with the first one I bought the Temperature was'nt reading accurately, took it back to Cabelas and they gave me a new one. I would'nt count on the Ballistics program even though its accurate it only works out to 500yds. Right now Cabelas has a spend $500 get $100 off plus extra points on your purchase. With the $100 saveings an I sold my 1200 for $400 I thought it was well worth the trade up, because I really wanted the Angle Indicator feature, along with temp. Good Luck, Wayne
