For sale---one lightweight custom 6.5-06, lefthanded.

    Home Oregunsmithing website

--remington skeletonized 700 action, work done by Oregunsmithing
    --Pendleton composite stock, Oregunsmithing
--26" pacnor barrel, number 3 contour, 1-8" twist
    --Dlask muzzlebrake
--timney trigger set to about 12 ounces
--talley lightweight one piece 1" low rings
    --cerakoted sniper grey

This build started life as a 280 ackley and was a oregunsmithing complete build. I did not like the short skinny barrel on it and rebarreled it last year to a 6.5-06. This work was all done by Pete Turner of Eagle, Idaho and it is a superb rifle. The way it sits in the photo with talley rings/mounts it weighs in at 6 pounds one ounce. Round count is at 70 and it is very accurate with 140 grain SST's over H4350 shooting several 3 shot groups in the .340 and .220 range. Great rifle for backpacking and she is a very easy shooter. Enclosed are some photos of the rifle, target and a success photo from last fall.
This is about a $3200 rifle and I have it for sale at $1,800.00.

Yes the gun was listed for sale about one month ago. It is everything described but I just don't want to spend the time and additional money to scope and buy all the necessary reloading equipment for a caliber so similar to the 280AI that I currently have. Email me directly at tdauber5@yahoo.com with any additional questions. No trades needed.

Wish this happened last week. When I missed out on this one a month ago, I ordered a Forbes LH in 6.5x55. Would have liked to picked up this one...

It had 90 rounds through it when I purchased it. I have put another 12 rounds through it. Let me know if you have any other questions. Price is firm as I just added a neck sizing die this week to go along with all the extras.
