Been conversing with a several of ya'll about ladder test and OCW stuff.

Tho't I'd try an abreviated OCW thing as I knew from earlier experiments "about" where things were coming together.

I'll tell ya what I "think" I learned to see if there is even the slightest hint of agreement out there.

What I "think" I observed is that the uniformity of the results of a load are dependent more on the volume of powder than the velocity that that amount of powder produced. At least with Ramshot Magnum in my rifle.

Shot in round robin fashion. One shot to each target, in rotation. Only one brain fart, where I forgot to record achrono reading. (no funny face for Idiot /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif )

Range was 200yds as that's where my target holder/backstop is.

Target 1
84.5gr Ramshot Magnum/FED 215/Sierra 250 game king

Target 2
84.1gr Ramshot Magnum

Target 3
83.7gr Ramshot Magnum

And an 84.0gr Ramshot Magnum target shot in an earlier in the day test for another reason. Cartridge parameters same as above except for pwdr weight.
