I think it has been done before, 6x45.

What is your parent case? your title reads as a 6mmRem necked down to .223, but the round looks like a 6x45mm (.223 remington necked up to 6mm), other than the orange tip bullet. If it's a 6x45, it has been done, but it is an excellent deer round in a AR-15 platform, and a very underestimated round.

Look up the TCU or Thompson Center Ugalde calibers. There's lots of them. I've made a couple myself. I was so proud of my genious until I did some research and was like, "CRAP!!! Well, that was a waste of time." LOL

The 7mm TCU looks REALLY cool. It's almost like a 7mm Blackout, but a FL .223 case.
