I'm just curious if anyone has used any of the high BC bullet that JLK makes on deer or coyotes?

    I'm looking at the 30cal in 175g.

How does jacket construction compare to the Bergers or Lapua bullets.

    Thanks

    Deano,

I have used the 6.5mm 130gr bullet on coyotes, and it worked great. The JLK's should perform very similar to the Bergers, as they both use the same J4 jackets. The Lapua Scenars use a heavier jacket and don't expand worth a damn.

That's what I was guessing. How much exit damage did you get on the coyote? With the Lapuas i'm getting about the size of a quarter or so, they don't open up much.

    Thanks for your time.

I am interested in running these in my .308, what are you shooting them in?
