Welcome to LRH! Most on here use either the Leica or the Swarovski. I use the Swarovski and like it.

I have the leica 1200. I would wait for the new ones coming out later this fall. My 1200 goes to 1000 pretty well but past that it isn't very good. They are coming out with a new 1600 that is gonna be nice. Swaro will be coming out with a really nice one I bet also. If you are buying right now I would buy the swaro.
