IMR 4831 VS H4831SC

I'm attempting to load some 130gr seirra in 270 around 3000fps. I I have some factory loaded by Federal that shoot great and that was the fps. I loaded with H4831SC at the same length of the factory round. Went 56.6, 56.8, 57, 57.2, 57,4. Should have hit the 3000 mark in that area. Didn't really have anything worth taking a look at. Was curious how much difference the IMR4831 would be?
My .270 load, for 130 gr Berger Classic Hunters, is 58.5grs of H4831sc, producing 3037 fps with brass that weighs 180 grains. Loading brass that weighs 195+ grains yields 3127 fps.

Any chance you could post a picture of that page in manual 5 ?

Thank you for info
I'll try and find it. It isn't in the #6. When I get home I have it on computer (Sierra program v6 or v7?) and get the info from there. I'm at .5gr over their max.

I did luck out and find 5 boxes of factory ammo loaded

I happened to luck out and find 5 boxes of the ammo I had, reasonably priced also $117 for the 5 boxes. Gives me extra time to work on finding a hand load that will behave in this gun

I can remember using factory ammo (except 22's & 17's) in a bolt action in over 50 years. Semi Auto that's a different story. I haven't used IMR 4350 or 4831 in over 22 years or there about. If you hunt in weather that ranges from under -0 dr to over 100 degrees I wouldn't take the chance. There to much different with those powder changes with temp changes. At the same time to each there own.

I finally have it. What has been working in my pre '64 is 3.340" with 61.3gr imr4831. Even at 110 degrees down to freezing. No OP signs, but did work up to it at temps for over 100. Reload safety at 100%!
