The Front Range is where most of the people live about half the population of Colorado lives in the Metro Denver area. I like the Ft. Collins area. Longmont and Loveland are two more places to check out. If you can find work the smaller cities like Glenwood Springs on the Western Slope are nice as well. Winters are not bad here in the lower elevations below 6,000 ft and most of the cities are below that elevation. I don't like Colorado Springs, or Boulder. And Boulder is too expensive . Most places are within an hours drive of Blue Ribbon trout waters if you like flyfishing. Back in 1996-98 I took a few trips and visited NM and few other places. And would recommend taking a trip out here first and do some exploring. Lots to do outdoors wise fishing, hunting, rock climbing, biking, kayacking, hiking, rafting, sking, etc. Dry climate, about 300 days of sunshine, senery is wonderful. I've been all over the U.S. except the Northeast, visited all but one of the National Parks except the one in Maine, could of moved anywhere I wanted to that had enough work. And settled here.
