I emailed the Idaho Fish & Game Dept. last week asking about the availability of wolf tags in Idaho referencing unit 13 where I live and hunt and this is the reply I received this morning.

[FONT=&quot]No decision has yet resulted from the May 28 Missoula court hearing on a
preliminary injunction in a legal challenge to the U.S. Fish and
Wildlife Service's decision to delist gray wolves in the Northern Rocky
    Mountains.

The injunction was sought by 12 environmental, conservation and animal
rights groups, pending the outcome of the lawsuit.

Sorry about the mess above. Cut and paste didn't work well and could not edit it. If you pick through the info is there anyway.

Its OK about the garbled nature. The chief thought got through. I was trying to find out the same thing last night on the Idaho website but couldn't find any clue about tags being for sale

    Thanks for the info.

    wolves

Seriously, I don't expect to see any wolf hunting in Idaho for some time. The state blabs and talks a great deal about it so hunting assoc. and coalitilions stay calmed down.

Just don't see a lot of action happening anytime soon IMO,IME

You don't need a tag to shoot a stinking wolf ---all you need is a good rifle............SS-ME
