Idaho Unit 40

Well the Idaho draw results are out and I didn't get anything for deer or elk.

My buddy drew on unit 40 though after 10 years of trying.
Anybody got info on this unit? People, Places?
Anything would be helpful.

Did he draw the November hunt?

I tagged along on a hunt out there last year, TONS of deer, lots of bucks.

We saw several "shooter bucks" every day.

Send me a PM and I could send you some coordinates of where we hunted.

One thing to prepare for, it is extremely cold and lots of wind out there that time of year. A quad is very, very helpful.

That country is VAST and desolate! Biggest bucks in ID can be found in that unit... Good luck! My college roommate and his buddy have hunted that country and it holds some monsters!
