Several months ago, there was an article in RIFLESHOOTER magazome on the Icon. Nice looking, appartently well made, but the accuracy was ho-hum. If I recall correctly, 5 shot groups at 100 were average 1 3/4"
yep savage for a build, but they only look good from 100yards away, after you turn from those tiny groups and look back at the bench. Savage makes a homely rifle that tends to shoot very well.
here is a ? for you all has any had a stock reshaped so why not take a savage and do some wood work I all so got a OLD 721 rem built in 1951 same ugly stock but shoots good
