After looking on this site I thought getting a long range gun for varmints would be VERY costly,and since i'm on a budget I haven't been on here in a while.I was at my local gunstore and saw a heavy barrel,picked it up,it was a 220 swift savage single shot with a HUGE palm swell wood-stock,prolly late 80s-early-early 90s model,cosmeticaly challenged,but the bore was excellent,pretty light trigger for a factory gun (bout 2.5 i'd say) and looked at the price tag,and I saw $249! Well,the next day I got it,a couple days ago redid it (got all the old paint off,then got some flat-black 1200 degree krylon paint,looks GREAT,refinished the stock) Going to test fire it tommorw..Wish me luck!!
