The farthest that I will spot is 600 yds...Just need to identify sex and general size of whitetail. What is the CHEAPEST I can get into one that will do the job?

I plan on getting a nice one later, but I need one ASAP and just dont have the money to spend

    What are my options? Thanks

While there are probably cheaper spotting scopes in the world, the Bushnell Sentry is inexpensive and would do a decent job.

    Bushnell 18-36x50 Sentry Spotting Scope

If you have the advantage of time, check spotting scopes out on eBay. I bought several of these Bushnell Sentrys for ~$50 shipped.

Vortex Nomad. Good glass for the money. Pretty cheap compared to what's out there, but its more like $300 than the $60 option above.....
