What do you guys think of the hydro/film transfer dipping? Will it last? I have an older 870 that I think is dipped and it's been great, but not sure how it will do on a HS stock??
I think that the success depends mainly on the prep work. From what I have seen it is more durable than paint. Most stocks that have detailed patterns are dipped. I would do it to one of my rifles and not even think twice about it. I would rather do that than paint a rifle. Just my opinion. Some of the patterns are pretty sweet looking.
