Just wondering if any locals of north western colorado can give a fellow colorado hunter some advice on muzzleloader elk around meeker?? I've hunted the Piance creek area for many years now but haven't drawn a tag for a while. Last time we were there the oil field had turned our nice little spot into a major highway. Anyone care to share an area with possabilities for a few plains people?? I am familiar with the wilson creek area and some of the land around the coal mine but These are kind of high for my dad to get around in with his lupis. Any help would be great!! thanks in advance
