Howa 1500 Axiom

has anybody seen or shot these rifles yet?

I have one in 243. I am not done seting it up, but the trigger is nice. Howa makes the Weatherby rifles. I saw a review that stated it shot half minute of angle out of the box. Not surprising for a 1500 action, they tend to be tack drivers.

I got to handel one for a bit , was pretty comfortable seemed to be well made but never got the chance to shoot it.

what are they running cost wise?

They are around 700 in store. Had full cammo on mine. It is going to be my coyote gun and my daughters deer rifle.

I looked hard at these rifles too! Seemed to be an awesome gun for the money. Had a good friend who owned one in 7 mm mag and claimed it was the most accurate rifle he ever owned!
