How to clean a lens???????

How and what does everyone use to clean their lens on their scopes and binos? I have corn dust on my lens. The covers flipped open when I was throwing out corn.

compressed air to blow it off

breath on lens and very gently wipe with a lens cloth to remove any remaining crud

move to different part of cloth, breath on lens again and clean properly.

Clean compressed air would be a good start . I have a Leupold lens pen which I quite like . Camera shops often sell commercial lens cleaning solutions that are good for removing oil and gunk .
