FEENIX, Nothing to spectacular. I had a Remington SA blue printed and a Schillen #5 match barrel slapped on in .308 win. (24") My intent was to have a semi light walking around rifle for pigs and deer. Apparently, my vision of the #5 countour was off. Its a little thicker and heavier than I expected, so looks like I have another long ranger in the mix now. (hate it when that happens) 1st smiths services were limited (work seems very clean though) so I sent the barreled action to Kevin last friday for bolt fluting, bolt knob, and a black cerakote finish. He's also scratching in the caliber designation on the barrel for me. Stock is coming from HS, color still undecided. Glass is going to be a MK 4 4.5-14x50 IR., and it will ride on NF bases and rings. I'll post pictures when its complete. Cross your fingers with me that she will shoot like her price tag suggests. * Want to clarify that I am not complaining about smith turn around in this thread. Just wanted to know if yall get anxious too.
