I am almost ready to hand load my first loads...I have found some of the above mentioned bullets for sale at a local shop and bought them. I figure even if its not what i will stick with for the long haul it is a good place to start. I have a 300 WM...so my problem is i don't have the hornady book, and have googled it with no luck. Can someone tell me where i can find the info. Since i am so new i would like to get my first load strait out of the book.

    Thanks
    Ryan

I bought 3 different powders also just because it seems like everyone is having trouble finding stuff...I have a pound of Varget,H1000, and H4831. I have BR-2 primers.

I don't have the latest Hornady manual, but here is some info from their volume #1 manual. Their loads are with magnum primers (F-215).

    H-1000: 74.0 min to 77.6 max.
    H-4831: 67.6 min to 70.4 max.

I don't know how out dated this is but I would go to Hornady.com and get the number to their tech line and give them a call. I have called them several times and they will give you the needed information.

Never drop below minimum in this caliber as well as that can be dangerous. Mention to them the primer you are using.

I have the latest Hornady manual, 7th Edition. Here is the info for the 180 gr. SP Interlock bullet. Their loads are fired out of a 25" barrel, 1-10" twist, Win LR Magnum primers (WLRM).

    H-1000: Not shown
    H-4831: 61.9 min 2500 fps -to- 74.3 max. 2900 fps

Hodgdon's Data Center shows the following loads for a 180 gr. Speer bullet. Primer, barrel specifications unknown.

    H-1000: 76.0 min 2883 fps -to- 81.0 max Compressed 3042 fps
    H-4831: 69.0 min 2851 fps -to- 73.0 max Compressed 2966 fps

    Hope this helps you.
