Here is a link for a homemade annealing machine. finished the auto annealer today - Benchrest Central Forums I posted the Ken Light annealing article video link earlier http://www.longrangehunting.com/forums/f94/annealing-how-article-video-ken-light-40018/ and Rich DeSimone has information on his annealing method. Plus if you search the Articles link at 6mmBR there is about 10 other articles on annealing by world class shooters. You really need to read the Ken Light article to learn how and how not to do annealing. For example, if you see "red" too late, brass is already too soft and quenching will not help. Been there done that and no amount of resizing to work harden will save it. KL machine uses the heavy tops to pre heat the brass and draw heat away from the base. BH
