HOG hunting

    Can anyone tell me if their are any hogs in washington state to hunt? I live in the yakima valley, but I am more than willing to travel for a good time of hog hunting!!

    There are suppose to be some in the northern Olympics but never confirmed.

    I scoured the internet to see if their were any hogs in this state (I also live in WA) I concur with your previous statement about their being some in the Olympics, but it looks like they were eradicated around 2001. While I do love to hog hunt (originally from the South) it's probably for the best that there are none running around up here. They dig up so much ground that with the amount of rain combined with our hilly country we would see significant erosion and the problems associated with that. Problems like muddy rivers and streams, and you know what that means for salmon.

    That would be a good question to ask the local fish and game warden. If there are any, I'm sure he'll be quick to tell you where they are. Check out their website.

    I belong to this site Hunting Washington and we have talked about it a lot and have talked to lots of WDFW and they all say no hogs.
