I had to get my log book out and recheck: 140 NBT, 24" bbl, 63.2 H1000, WW brass, WLR primer: 2999 140 NBT, 24" bbl, 61.8 H1000, WW brass, WLRM primer: 3013 140 Sierra 140 HPBT Gameking, 24" bbl, 60.2gr H1000, WWbrass, WLRM: 2980 140 Sierra 140 HPBT GK, 24" bbl, 63.0 H1000, WWbrass, WLR: 3001 140 Nosler partition, 25.5" bbl, 62.7gr H1000, 30.06 Lapua brass necked down, Fed210M: 3019 If your accuracy is extreme, you've achieved 98% of what we strive for. Accuracy is far more important than speed. I watched a video where a guy "lobbed" a 185 VLD from a 20" bbl 308 and dumped a buck at 595 yards. He used Re15 if I recall and it was a near minimum load but was as accurate as any bench gun in 6mm. My favorite from the above list is the 2nd load for accuracy. For whatever reason, the 270 does very well with slow powders and magnum primers.
