I don't know how many times, me or one of my hunting buddies has stumbled across a piece of brass and then we play "name that caliber" without looking at the headstamp. It's typically pretty easy to get close, but sometimes a 25-35 or some other old piece of brass will throw you off.

Well, Here is a picture of a few pieces of brass that you all can try to deduce electronically. They are in ascending order of caliber size from left to right.

If these are too easy, I can dig out the bullet collection and really try to stump you.

25-06 308 30-06 300win 300 sortmag 300rum 338AM 50AE

i really think that the 3rd one over is a 7 somthing but i cant come up with one

243, 6 br, 260, 264 wm, 7 wsm, 300 rum, 338 lapua improved, 50 beowolf?? That was the first set I came up with, but I'm probably wrong.

sure why not try

243, 7.62x39, 7/08, 8mm, 325 WSM, 338/300 RUM, 338 AM, 50 beauwolf

You almost had them,

.243, ??, 7/08, 7mm Rem Mag, 300WSM, 338/300 RUM 33AM and 50 Beowulf.

I need to make them tougher for you guys.

Let's see who can figure out #2, It is bigger than a .243 and smaller than a .284 . Thats all the hints for now.

The 7mag 300 WSM threw me with the same color BT's... are all the accubonds white? how about 6.5x47 lapua on #2?

1. 243 win
2. 6.5 Grendel AKA 6.5PPC
3. 7mm-08
4. 7mm rem mag
5. 300 wsm
6. 338 Edge
7. 33AM
8. 50 Beowolf Which looks like it needs a little more crimp or something because of the bullet buldge.
