NATCHES HAS A SALE ON SIMMONS SCOPES RIGHT NOW. I NOTICED THAT THEY HAVE A DISCONTINUED MODEL THAT IS A 8-32X44 THAT HAS JAPANESE GLASS. I THOUGHT WHAT THE HECK AND BOUGHT ONE AND TOOK IT TO THE RANGE WITH MY 45X45 COMP LEUPOLE, A 4.5-14X50 LEUPOLE AND A REDFIELD 6-20X50 ILLUMINATOR. ALL HAVE CROSS HAIRS AND A TARGET DOT. WHEN I LOOKED THRU THE NEW SIMMONS SCOPE I DID NOTICE THE CROSS HAIRS WERE THICKER AND THE DOT WAS LARGER. IT WOULD BE GREAT FOR SOME OF US OLDER PEOPLE LOOSING OUR SIGHT BUT WAS VERY CLEAR AND HELD ITS ZERO ALL THE WAY UP TO 32 POWER. AT THE TOP POWER IT DID SHOW A LITTLE LESS CLEAR BUT I COULD SEE THE CROSS HAIRS AND TARGET DOT WITH OUT ANY PROBLEM AND SHOT 5 SHOTS WITH MY .308 WITH A GROUP LESS THAN 1/2 MOA AT 100 YARDS. FOR THE MONEY, I THINK ITS GREAT. IF YOU HAVE LESS THAN PERFECT EYES IT IS GREAT. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE CASH TO BUY ANOTHER $700-$1,000 SCOPE, IT IS GREAT. THEY DO NOT HAVE MANY LEFT BUT THEY ARE WELL WORTH THE MONEY AND YOU WON'T BE UNHAPPY AT ALL. IT EVEN SOMES WITH A 5" SHADE AND SCREWABLE CAPS THAT FITS THE SHADE OR SCOPE.
