Heres my horror story.
Finally got my masterpeice in. Beautifull. mcmillian stock, matt stainless finish, bat action. topped it with nxs 5.5-22. formed a few peices of brass while breaking in. went to range, consistantly shot a 1.375" group at 500 yards. met all my expectations. Then i let someone talk me into using playdough to form brass, i said sure, it will save barrel life. now my rifle wont shoot under 1 moa.
