I need to change out the factory trigger on the a-bolt. Is there a "how to" on this job? Should I just take it to the gunsmith? I am kind of a do it yourself kind of guy.

Thanks

There aren't many options for a-bolt triggers.

I believe Timney makes a replacement spring kit.

It would be best to take it to a good smith that might be able to tune it up. ...although smiths who work on a-bolts are few and far between.

Moyers makes a trigger but I would just go with the spring kit. Timney makes the spring kit, it comes with two springs one is medium and one is light. I have three of these spring kits They are easy to install and you can take the trigger down to as low as 1 pound with the light spring.
