Help beginner improve his reloading.

Nice, a "secret" recipe! Thanks I will check that one out!

I have been wanting to try the 50BMG as well, I will get around to it sooner or later! I have like 3 jars of the US869, but it goes fast at 117.5 grains a pop!

I am using IMR4895 in the .22-250 at the moment, not the most popular powder for the .22-250, but It has shot very well the few times I've had it out... And the barrel's not even fully broken in on that rifle yet. Only been shot about 30 rounds so far!

I will try those other powders (and primers) out. I use CCI's for everything at the moment.

Thanks.

4895 is a really good all around type powder. If I could have only one, it would likely be 4895 :) Fortunately, there are soo many powders to choose from I can't keep up with them all.
