I,like most everyone else here like long range hunting, and shooting. For me longrange can mean 40 yds ,in the spring woods chaseing old tom turkey, ( although I never have shot at one that far ), I like getting them close. A hundered yards or more in the fall collecting venision, can be mighty fun, or 30 yd shots at bushy tails. It all started for me with a worn-out Stevens Favorite .22. I've progressed?, to larger guns and longer ranges, but its never been any more fun than takeing a crack at whistle pigs a hundered or more yds away with that old Stevens Favorite, and watching the dust roll up. Enuff of that , looks like you have a nice forum here, interestin and informative. Nice meeting you all.

Welcome to the forum. Where in VA are you hunting/shooting? I live and hunt in Chesterfield County, but do most of my long range rifle hunting in the southwest part of the state in Grayson County.
