Headspace gauges for 300RUM

Does any one know if the headspace gauges for 338 RUM use the same dimensions as for the 300 RUM. A friend has the 338 Gauges over here in the UK and I wondered if they would double for the .300 RUM so saving the need to purchase further gauges for a potential 300WM conversion. By being able to use the same go - no-go gauges will shave around $150 US of the total price of converting my sendero, just need the reamer?

Nope, the 338 RUM is a bit shorter than the 300RUM around 0.1"

I am pretty sure the 7 and 300 RUM will interchange....and that the 338 is shorter.

A "GO" gauge is all you need bud and they can be bought from Pacific Tool and Gauge for $29.00 bucks. If you don't have the reamer yet, this is also the perfect place to get that too.
