[QUOTE="bshaw, post: 225932, member: 11229"] Just came across this thread, but if anyone is interested according to B&C's advertising their stocks are solid, laid up with fiberglass, kevlar and carbon composite I have the adjustable on my rem 700 .308, it did seem a little canted in the barrel channel so I took a 1" steel bar wrapped some 220 grit sand paper around it and let out the channel, skim bedded the aluminum bedding block, bedded the recoil lug and 1 1/2" of the barrel with J B Weld. It's a very stable platform that after working on it a little keeps this rifle shooting consistent - 1/2" groups all day. I don't mind the wide forearm the only draw back I see is the stock weighs quite a bit, my factory 700 SPS now weighs 13 1/2 lbs. Anyone know a gun bearer that will work for DeerMeat?
