Fianlly had the time to post some pics. Normally when I leave the camera home nothing shows up to shoot. At any rate, here are some boars that made an appearnace right before dark. These two pigs are numbers 44&45 taken, which are tallied over the last 2 years on this lease. http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f267/distantfoe/100_0822.jpg http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f267/distantfoe/100_0824.jpg During deer season, these things tend to get on my nerves, yet when deer season is over and the cyotoes are educated, there are always hog to shoot. Both were shot with a .30cal 168gr berger's at 3300fps. On the brown hog, while standing broadside, the bullet exited aproximately 10" back from the entrance. I've heard of this much deflection but never seen it first hand, then again it could've been quartered slightly. More details to follow since the wife says I've got to get off the computer.
