[QUOTE="barnesuser28, post: 854614, member: 43468"] Well, youth deer season started friday at noon. Doublezranch (Jayson), his Father Derald, and his son Zayne, drove down from the east end of the state and we met up. Zayne got his doe at 250 yards prone from a bipod with his weatherby 7mm-08 shooting the 140 grain Barnes TTSX on friday night. We werent there for 5 minutes and two does and a fawn came out. My little brother Colin got set up behind my 284 win, and i dialed the scope and wind. She was 560 yards out, with a 6 mph wind from 5 o clock. She turned and quartered too us, the shot rang out and she went 3 feet, straight down. :) The 162 amax hit going 2128 fps, in the neck and exited the offside shoulder with a 1 1/2" exit, with the jacket sitting nicely in it. So we gutted her and took her back to the house to debone her.
