H1000 for 280 AI 180 GN. Pill?

Just seeing what you 280 AI freaks think about H1000 for a 180 gn. berger. To slow burning or does it flat just not work out. I don't know why I want to use H1000 but it just flat out intrigues me because it works so good on my other boom sticks.

I used H1000 for the 162gr Amax bullets in my 280AI and was pleasantly surprised. I have only played with 180gr bergers once and was using retumbo. I was also using F210 primers with the H1000, am not sure how 215M's would have done?

man thanks for the info! im excited to give her a whirl for sure. I have a ton of H1000 in the same lot so I would love to keep it going in other rifles. If you don't mind me asking what speeds were you getting with the Retumbo and H1000.

I was getting 2700-2800fps with 58gr-60gr of retumbo, 215m's and 180gr bergers.
160gr accubond and 162gr amax with either H1000 or retumbo am getting 3000fps.
