Sorry if this is a dumb question but I've just spent an hour searching this forum. I'd like reccomendations for a smith to re- barrel and match the light contour (Kimber 8400 Montana) so major stock work is not needed. I'd like to end up with a 1/2 MOA barrel which might be dificult with one so light. The 'smith I've used for years is retired and I've not gotten good reports on others in my area. Thanks in advance.

Any of the sponsor smiths here will meet your requirement/expectations ... I'm pretty they'll chime in as soon as their workloads warrants it.

Meantime, you can browse through gun photos section for some of their masterpieces.

Good luck!
