I have one from a few years ago on a 270 WSM and it works great. I saw them at the mule deer show and the turret knob is a lot nicer now than my old one and they use the new version of the VX3. I've only dialed it out really far once and my buddys and I all killed an old playmate cooler at 880 yards. I've shot a couple animals @ 500+ and it was right on.

I just bought one and am very impressed. I like Leupold anyway and thought about Huskemaw but with over 100 years of experience I went with Leupold. I am very impressed with the accuracy and dealing with Greybull Precision.

I also decided to go with the Greybull Precision Scope, will be ordering one in the next week. It will go on the custom 7mm SAUM that Jim See is building for me. Surgeon action, Brux barrel, Manners stock, and Greybull scope. Does it get any better? gun)

    Skudrunner,

You're gonna enjoy life with the scope and shootin'.

However, skudrunnin' over the flat lands is pretty fun, in the mtns is another story.

The only thing more fun than making the shot is skudrunnin'.:D

I bought one and am very pleased with the scope of course lifetime Leupold warranty is a big plus. Custom turret works perfect for my load dealing with them was a pleasure and easy to do. I recommend them very highly.

My favorite hunting scope. I went back and forth a year ago between it and Huskemaw. In the end, I felt that GBP was just a clearer picture, and I liked the reticle better. It was close though. I am torn on the whole 4-14 only setup. I understand why they went that way, but Huskemaw has to be outselling them just based on the fact that they sell a 5-20. Their scope isn't half as well made though in my opinion.

I still may go the Huskemaw route at some point. Just to have one.

I heard that the Husky has their reticle patented. It is their wind holds that make the difference. This is what I heard anyway.

I think gunwerks holds the paient for putting wind drift on the top turrent, but I don't about the hash or windage marks on reticle.

I am guessing he is saying that he hasn't worked up his load data and submitted it to GBP in order for them to engrave and send him his turret.
