Thank you for the very kind offer, I might take you up on that. However, I hate to deprive you of your trigger time and ammunition. I've shot at 1200 with a boltgun before but that was over ten years ago and with an issued rifle. I might come out and shoot my NM AR with iron sights, I have plenty of 80 gr SMKs on hand. In addition, it would provide comic relief for all of you with enough sense to take advantage of those new fangled rifle scopes. I'll let you know about the offer, regardless, I plan on being there. What time, what range, and what is the entry fee? Speaking of scopes, what are you using? I have a Remington 700 5R Mil-Spec .308 sitting in its box right now and the only thing I'm missing is a scope. I bought the 5R for a budget tactical rifle and planned on putting a Leupold Mark 4 4.5x14 LR/T on it. The idea of shooting F-Class with it was almost an afterthought. It seems that most F-Class shooters are using scopes with much more magnification. I'd like to look through some peoples scopes at 1,000 to determine exactly what I need.
