I'm trying to acquire all of the necessities to get proficient at shooting to 1,000 yards. I'll list what I have and what I'm intending to get. I'm asking for additional suggestions on equipment and if there are any changes I need to make to what I have got. Thank you for your help. What I have: A capable rifle (7rm) with NF ATACR Flatline Ops Anti-cant device - ***I do NOT have the Angle Degree Indicator*** Harris S bipod - both the tall and short models Shooter App for Android Leupold TBR 1,000 (To be upgraded) What I intend to get: G7 Rangefinder Weatherhawk WM 100 windmeter Flatline Ops Body Bag My thoughts: My Shooter app will give me all of the weather inputs, so I don't see a need for a higher priced model of windmeter....should I rethink? I didn't get the angle degree indicator for a few reasons, the price (I've bought a lot lately), the added bulk, and my shooter app has an angle finder....should I still get one? I fully intend to have a G7 by late summer/early fall, but until then I can wheel off distances and set up targets so I can practice at known distances. I have shot at 800 before, but it was with very little wind. Imo, I faired well for the first time shooting that far, but I want to be able to consistently hit the targets at up to 1,000 which takes both practice and equipment. I can handle the practice, I just need help on what all equipment I need to do so...that's where you guys come in:). Please let me know your thoughts on what to change and what else I need. Thank you!
