[QUOTE="Buffalobob, post: 404123, member: 8"] I don’t hunt so much in grizzly bear country so I thought the S&W 460 was a little heavy to carry around as a bear gun and I had a peculiar experience with it one night last year in Utah. So I decided I should have a competition and small bear pistol. I looked at the Glock and Springfield XD long slide guns and finally settled on the Glock 34 although now I wish I had got the 35. With the 35, I could have swapped in a 9mm barrel at little cost and had two guns in one. The Glock 34 comes with an adjustable rear sight which is nice in the daytime but at night it is useless. I looked at lasers and tactical lights but they all seemed to have too many switches with too many possibilities of not working when needed. So I settled on replacing the factory sight with some tritium sights. The following sequence of videos is my experience with changing out the front and rear sights and installing new adjustable tritium sights. The one thing I skim over in the videos is the very careful filing and fitting of the rear sight dovetail. This is very touchy business and you do not wish to file too much. 1.
