I don't know who makes the glass, but I was impressed by my views through them in the store. I recently ordered one and it's in, but I've not had a chance to go pick it up.

    Do you own one?

No I don't own one but I was shamefully impressed ? Why? Because I'm not a Leupold man. They're over priced. I just bought a IOR 2.5x10x42MM . Its has the best optics I've ever seen . At a price of $800.00 bucks But that VX-7 might be its equal in clarity but not in price. Which one did you purchase ?

I got the 4-14X50 with the VH reticle.
The feature I liked most of all was the low profile, stowable, lockable finger adjustments. I am not familiar with the IOR scopes, always used Leups or NF on everything. Would actually rather have a NF, but didn't want the extra size and weight for the gun it's going on, and I wanted more than 10X on the top end, which eliminated their compacts.
