I happened to bump into a fellow long range shooter while working today. He was showing me a lot of his different barrels, actions and guns and showed me one barrel that he had yet to try out. It had a gain twist. I tried asking him about it, but so far, he has yet to get it matched to an action, so he is still unsure of how well it will work.
Has anyone here had any experience using a gain twist? How do they compare to a standard twist barrel?
