Full lenght sizing VS necksizing, which is better

Bear, you won't be sorry if you go with a custom FL from Forster. when you get a die that fits your round, you work the brass very little,just bump the shoulder, and the neck tension is the same every time.but the best thing is the sized brass is VERY straight. that's the key to accurate ammo.just make absolutely sure what the neck O.D. is of a loaded round before you order your die.put the bullets you intend to use in your brass and measure the diameter of the loaded round.i went about .003 under on mine. 4 would probably work just fine also. i don't think i would go less than 3 with a 338.
